A Day in Niagara Falls

Spectacular view of the massive Horseshoe Falls
What comes to your mind when someone talks about Canada? I'm sure it's none other than Niagara Falls. The Falls, that straddles on the borderline of New York (U.S.A.) and Ontario (Canada), accounts for total of three falls named Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls respectively.

There are a lot of activities that tourists can enjoy during their time in Niagara Falls. If you're a summer time visitor, you can enjoy Hornblower Niagara Cruises that'll take you deep inside the curve of Horseshoe Falls (Trust me, it's something you'd prefer not to miss). However, regardless of the season, if you prefer the mist of spray on you, try "Journey Behind The Falls", an attraction that takes you behind the Horseshoe Falls, where  you can enjoy the scenic view of water dropping down.

Once done, head to Clifton Hill, known for its amusement attractions. Whether a massive ferris wheel called SkyWheel where you can have a panoramic view of the Falls, Haunted Houses or variety of restaurants, Clifton Hill's got it all. Later, you can go to Fallsview Casino Resort and take your chance of making money.

Overall, Niagara Falls is a fun place to visit and will suffice your interests. From being a vivid adventure or a nature lover or perhaps a leisure traveller, Niagara Falls will take your breath away with its magnificent beauty!

  1. As a life-time resident of the Niagara area, I feel it's magnificance is often taken for granted by locals. Last year, when touring visitors from out of town, I took a ride on the SkyWheel and enoyed the view from 175 feet up. It is truly one of the seven wonders of the world.

  2. Nice post Jay! I've been to the Journey Behind the Falls attraction and loved it! May I suggest the Whirlpool AeroCar for your next destination? It travels right above the Niagara river!
